Microsoft: Xbox substitute Kinect

Microsoft did not consider the launch of next-generation Xbox in the near future. The reason, they menggangap Kinect effectively as a 'new consoles' company.
"Kinect a very innovative and reshape public expectations for the way in which they controlled the game," said Bean Board, the Xbox division as the European Developer Account Manager, as reported by The Inndepent, Friday (11/26/2010).
"We did not see it only as an add-on. It is our view that Kinect is our new console," he said.
Board admitted there will be teams that look at technology as a substitute for the Xbox 360, but he said most likely will come not in the near future.
"What we have with Kinect is something beyond what our competitors do This goes way beyond the Nintendo Wii," he said.
Party Microsoft said that it had sold one million units Kinect sensor device for the Xbox 360 in just 10 days since the day of its release.
The company said that they were in route target to sell five million devices Kinect until the end of this year.
